Removable Access Hatch Guardrail – CITADELLE

The Millenium roof hatch guardrail is designed to enhance safety around roof access hatches, which, when left open, can pose a significant fall risk. This system facilitates entry and exit with its integrated handle, providing a simple and effective solution for securing roof access points in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. The system surrounds the hatch area and integrates a safety barrier to ensure user protection during roof access, maintenance, or inspection operations.

Posts and Horizontal Rails: 6061-T6 structural aluminum tubing, Schedule 40 (1.9 in. / 48 mm outside diameter and 0.145 in. / 3.7 mm wall thickness). Aluminum offers excellent mechanical strength and high corrosion resistance.

All components can be painted to the client's specification to integrate with the building's architecture. Parts can be delivered with a powder-coated finish in the color specified by the client. The RAL color code must be provided at the time of order.

All base plates are protected by a non-slip rubber coating to safeguard roofing membranes and installation surfaces. The protective insert beneath the plate is 0.75 in. (19.05 mm) thick.

Assembly fittings are composed of 535 cast aluminum unions with threaded holes and stainless steel set screw inserts to ensure a strong and durable attachment. Available Fitting Types:

• Elbow: 90-degree corner fitting
• Joints: linear fitting, "T"-shaped fitting, or "Y"-shaped fitting
• Wall Mount Base: mounting piece that receives the horizontal rails
