Product Types and Attachment Systems

Attachment to Flat Surfaces (Parapet or Walls)
  • Support designed for direct anchoring on a flat horizontal or vertical surface.
Typical applications:
  • Platforms with flat surfaces
  • Concrete slabs
  • Structural walls
Attachment for Sloped Surfaces
  • Adjustable version allowing installation on sloped surfaces. The adjustability compensates for the surface angle to ensure a safe and compliant installation.
Typical applications:
  • Sloped roofs
  • Roof slopes
  • Uneven platforms
Side-mounted attachments ("bottles") – Side Mounting Attachment system allowing lateral anchoring when the guardrail cannot be installed on the top surface. Typical applications:
  • Platforms with ledges and access hatches
  • Structures where ground space is restricted
  • Installations requiring clearance on the top face
These attachments allow for a solid installation without encroaching on the walkable surface.

Responsibility for Anchors

For all mentioned attachment plates (Wall Bracket, Wall Bracket Adjustable, and side-mounted attachments), it is the responsibility of the installer or the person in charge of the installation to provide the type of anchoring (hardware) compliant with the existing structure. The installer must ensure that the anchors used comply with:
  • The nature of the support (concrete, steel, wood, membrane, etc.)
  • Applicable loads
  • Local safety and compliance requirements
 

Anchor Recommendations

A specific anchor type can only be recommended if the project includes an engineer's seal. In this case, the responsible engineer performs an analysis of the existing structure and issues technical recommendations, including:
  • The anchor model to use
  • Drilling depths
  • Any other requirement necessary to ensure a compliant and safe installation
Without an engineer's seal, the responsibility for selecting and providing adequate anchors rests entirely with the installer.

Galvanized Steel Products (OPTIONAL)

For galvanized steel products, manufacturing is carried out exclusively in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. No additional design or equivalence request is required, as the products are manufactured exactly as specified in the project documentation. However, this type of product may represent a higher cost than aluminum guardrail solutions.
